My name is Amy and I designed the p-orbital pillow! I teach general chemistry and I noticed most students couldn’t visualize the three different p orbitals in three dimensions. One Saturday, I made a pattern and very clumsily sewed a pillow. When I took it to class, the students loved it! After years of using my DIY pillow, I found a plush company to help me make my project into something everyone could enjoy!
