Description

A few months ago, I went to Waimanalo to the beach and I noticed there were a lot of small plastic pieces in the sand. I collected these pieces, but wanted to make a statement about the plastics that get dumped into the ocean and wash up on shore. I painted a canvas blue, painted the islands on it, and spent a few hours gluing the plastics. I would love everyone to have a microplastic Hawaii island print, but a print will have to do.
